This is quite simply what makes the great difference. Rather than using the actual liquid as driving power, it is the air pressure which will, in the Danfoil sprayers, drive water and chemicals through the atomizers unlike conventional nozzles pressing the liquid through a small hole in the nozzle by way of hydraulic pressure.<BR><BR>The task to be performed by the atomizer is distributing the liquid. Immediately before the atomizer, the liquid flow will be throttled, and the liquid flow thus controlled. In large crops, the air, generating turbulence around the plants, will ensure that spraying liquid will be deposited all over the crop, and on the top side as well as the lower side of the leaves. The deposition of liquid on the lower side of the leaves will make it easier for chemicals (leaf pesticides) to penetrate, and thus achieve an effect.
